Please note that the weight range has been updated for the M size - it now covers from 90-115kgs. Also note that some pilots have found the new wing to be sensitive to chest strap setting; if you fly it with the chest strap too tight you may find that it rolls a bit much during fast transitions, whereas when you open up the strap the wing goes like it is on rails. We've been getting some pretty hefty feedback from around the World on this wing, and each time we hear of a new pilot falling in love we grow a few mm in our shoes, appreciating the hype more and more. Summit XC3 now also LTF certified
Over the years we've grown used to the two letters EN (meaning "European Norm") signifying that something is homologated to a joint European standard, and thus being marketable all over the European Union. Alas, it turns out that there are exceptions to this convenient system.In Germany only paragliders homologated according to the Lufttüchtigkeitsforderungen (literally "airworthiness requirements", LTF) as defined by the German Ministry for Transport may be legally flown - so much for standardisation within the EU - so when it became apparent that the accreditation process which our usual certification institute, Air Turqouise, was going through was being drawn out, we went and re-certified the Summit XC3 with EAPR, who is already LTF accredited.

Meet the gladiators: The UP X-Alps team
Prepare to be awed! On July 5th we'll all once again be glued to our computer screens for days on end, following the spectacle that is the Red Bull X-Alps event unfold in real-time before our eyes, as close to being there as it gets without actually being there - or more in fact, since we can see all of them at once, whereas the physical spectators can only see one, or a few, at a time."They" being the X-Alps contenders of course, and we're stoked to announce that our two favourite pilots of all time, Ferdy van Schelven and Honza Rejmanek, are on UP wings again - this time on stock-standard Trango XC3's
New UP t-shirt colour
We've added another colour option to our "Horizon" t-shirt lineup. The blue t-shirt is catchy, trendy and very comfortable, and will make any day brighter still. It comes in sizes S to XL to fit most anyone, and is much easier on your wallet than the quality and finish implies. Ask your local UP dealer to order some, if she hasn't yet!

Super Testival Kössen 2015
The Super Testival is the brainchild of Central European paraglidings Grand Old Man Sepp Himberger. Sepp runs the Flugschule Kössen, and this years' Super Testival is already the 7th incarnation of his idea to make it possible to test fly ALL the interesting wings in one venue once a year. In 2015 the dates are June 4th to 7th, alternatively June 19th to 21st in case of adverse weather conditions. Most of the manufacturers will be there, including UP, so if you're keen to test fly any of our products, and compare them directly to the competitors' wings, this is the event to seek out. We hope to see you there!
